We believe in radical transparency, a way of communication that puts everything on the table. Everyone has the opportunity and responsibility to provide feedback and speak freely, no matter who presented the idea. This practice is easy when the news is good. It’s when friction and disagreements occur that transparency becomes more difficult, more necessary, and far more impactful.
Our environment is built on the fundamentals of safety and trust, not comfort. Comfort leads to complacency, and complacency leads to dull ideas. Through safety and trust, we allow each team member to present ideas with the knowledge that he or she will be heard. This has allowed us to move quickly and create a further impact on each other and our clients.

Content Manager Jobs in Michigan: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a content manager in Michigan?
Content manager is not a state-licensed role in Michigan, so there is no required credential from a Michigan licensing board. Most Michigan employers expect a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, or journalism, followed by a few years of content writing or digital marketing experience. Building a portfolio that demonstrates editorial leadership and SEO results is typically the deciding factor in competitive markets like Detroit and Grand Rapids.
Which companies hire content managers in Michigan?
Employers hiring content managers in Michigan right now include Grounded RV, MillerKnoll, and Ellis Porter, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Michigan's concentration of automotive, healthcare, and financial services headquarters means content teams here often focus on technical, regulated, or B2B subject matter alongside traditional brand and consumer content.
Which Michigan cities have the most content manager jobs?
Troy, Detroit, and Holland have the most content manager openings in Michigan. Detroit and its surrounding suburbs account for the largest share, driven by the headquarters of major automotive brands, financial services firms, and regional healthcare systems, while Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor pull in additional postings from medical device companies, universities, and growing tech sectors anchored there.
Are there remote content manager jobs in Michigan?
Yes, and more than most fields. Content management is largely desk-based and digital by nature, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 75% of content manager openings tied to Michigan are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the role's compatibility with distributed teams. The most consistently remote sub-roles are SEO content strategy and long-form editorial work, where output is measurable and collaboration happens asynchronously.
How can I get hired as a content manager in Michigan with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a content coordinator or junior copywriter role first, then building toward content management. Large Michigan employers such as Henry Ford Health, Beaumont Health, and Rocket Companies have been known to hire new graduates into marketing associate or communications specialist positions that lead to content oversight responsibilities. A portfolio of published work, even from freelance or university projects, combined with a working knowledge of a CMS and basic SEO, gives candidates without formal experience a concrete advantage in Michigan interviews.
Where can I find and apply to content manager jobs in Michigan?
You can find and apply to content manager jobs in Michigan on Migrate Mate, which lists current Michigan openings across industries and metro areas. Find the roles that fit your experience and specialization and apply directly to the employers posting them.
