ABOUT THE JOB
We’re looking for a passionate and collaborative (Senior) Social Media Manager to help foster deeper connections between brands and their audiences. This individual will be a key part of our integrated team, responsible for the day-to-day execution of our social presence, from calendar planning and publishing to community management, social listening and performance tracking. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They have a strong understanding of how platforms work, how audiences engage and how to translate real-time signals into smarter, more effective social output.
Responsibilities
Organic Channel & Calendar Management:
- Own day-to-day management of brand social channels (posting, scheduling, monitoring)
- Build, maintain, and update content calendars across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Ensure all content is scheduled, QA’d and published accurately and on time
- Draft platform-native copy that reflects brand voice and tone
- Manage timelines and flag risks or gaps (missing assets, unclear direction, shifting priorities)
Community Management & Engagement:
- Monitor and engage with audience comments, DMs, tags and mentions in a timely and on-brand manner
- Proactively build relationships with fans, creators and communities through engagement
- Adapt tone and messaging in real time based on platform context and audience behavior
- Escalate customer service or PR-sensitive issues to client/internal teams following protocols
Social Listening & Signals:
- Actively monitor cultural trends, platform shifts and relevant conversations
- Surface real-time insights, opportunities and risks to the broader team
- Identify patterns in audience behavior and track sentiment, engagement trends and key conversation themes
- Spot and act on real-time posting opportunities when relevant
Reporting & Performance:
- Pull and organize data across platforms and tools to support ongoing analysis
- Build and contribute to weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports
- Track key metrics and help identify what’s working, what’s not, and where to optimize
- Support development of insights and recommendations based on performance data
Content & Creative Support:
- Collaborate with strategy and content teams to inform briefs and brainstorm ideas
- Ensure content is optimized for each platform (format, length, captioning, etc.)
Strategic Support:
- Participate in campaign and channel planning sessions
- Stay on top of platform trends, tools and best practices
- Contribute to POVs and recommendations with insights from day-to-day channel performance
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong working knowledge of major social platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok and X
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong grasp of brand voice
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong cultural awareness and instincts for what resonates on social
- Experience with data analysis, performance tracking and translating metrics into actionable insights
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in social media, community management, or digital marketing
- Experience pulling and analyzing social performance data and working with reporting tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Social Publishing Tools (e.g., Sprout Social)
- Comfortable with a flexible schedule that may include evenings or weekends as part of a rotation
- Ability to travel as needed
At the time of posting, the base salary for this position ranges from $60,000-$75,000. Compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
