Customer Solutions Manager Jobs in Rhode Island: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a customer solutions manager in Rhode Island?
Most customer solutions manager roles in Rhode Island require a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, combined with experience in account management or customer-facing roles. No state-issued license applies to this role. Rhode Island employers in financial services and healthcare technology typically prefer candidates who have progressed from coordinator or associate roles within the same industry, and familiarity with the industries dominant in Providence strengthens any application significantly.
Which companies hire customer solutions managers in Rhode Island?
Employers hiring customer solutions managers in Rhode Island right now include CVS Health, UNFI, and FujiFilm, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Rhode Island's concentration of financial services firms, insurance carriers, and healthcare technology companies means customer solutions manager openings tend to cluster around organizations with large client-facing or B2B operations based in the Providence metro area.
Which Rhode Island cities have the most customer solutions manager jobs?
Providence, Rhode Island, and Woonsocket have the most customer solutions manager openings in Rhode Island. Providence dominates because it is home to the state's largest financial services, insurance, and professional services employers, while Cranston and Warwick draw from the same metro labor market and host satellite offices and regional headquarters for companies like Amica Mutual and several healthcare administration firms.
Are there remote customer solutions manager jobs in Rhode Island?
Yes, and they are relatively common given that customer solutions management is primarily a desk-based, communication-driven role. About 64% of customer solutions manager openings tied to Rhode Island are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the role's strong fit with distributed work arrangements. Client onboarding, account reviews, and relationship management tasks are the functions most frequently performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a customer solutions manager in Rhode Island with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a customer success associate or account coordinator role at one of Rhode Island's financial services or healthcare technology firms, where internal promotion into a solutions manager title is common. Employers like Amica Mutual and regional healthcare IT companies regularly hire entry-level client services staff. A Salesforce administrator certification or demonstrated CRM experience gives candidates without a long work history a meaningful edge in Providence-area interviews.
