INTRODUCTION
Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Customer Solutions Specialist.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will maintain ongoing relationships with regional customers and sales staff by handling calls, correcting order issues, processing orders, and resolving product or service issues.
- Process sales orders and changes, confirm shipment/delivery dates, and handle cancellations.
- Provide specialty gas/supplies sales and support to customers, Customer Solutions Specialists, and the outside sales team.
- You will use business software systems to retrieve customer information, verify inventory levels, and process orders.
- Verify customer credit status and complete paperwork for issuing credits or debits.
- You will provide quotes and assistance to sales force and management within set parameters.
- Suggest additional or alternative products and services to meet customer needs, following pricing guidelines.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with all internal Linde customers, meeting call center performance metrics.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- You have a high school diploma; college or equivalent experience preferred.
- You possess a minimum of 2 – 4 years of customer service or in-store sales experience.
- Prior industry experience with knowledge of company products such as hardgoods, welding supplies, industrial gas, specialty gas, and medical gas is required.
- Hands-on experience in Specialty Gas/Hydrocarbon industries is required.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications and Lotus Notes are essential for this role.
- You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You should demonstrate the ability to work independently and be self-motivated and work flexible hours.

COMPENSATION
- Pay Range: $23.00 - $30 per hour, depending on experience.
