Customer Success Jobs in Missouri: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a customer success in Missouri?
Most Missouri customer success roles require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, though no state-issued license applies to the profession. Employers in St. Louis and Kansas City typically want candidates who have handled B2B relationships or worked in SaaS support. Building familiarity with CRM tools, earning a vendor certification such as Gainsight or Salesforce, and gaining even entry-level account coordination experience strengthens an application considerably.
Which companies hire customer successs in Missouri?
Missouri customer success roles are posted by SS&C, Elsevier, and Rippling and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Missouri's concentration of health technology firms, financial services companies, and enterprise software providers keeps demand for customer success professionals steady across the state.
Which Missouri cities have the most customer success jobs?
St. Louis, Missouri, and Raytown account for the greatest concentration of customer success openings in Missouri. St. Louis leads because of its dense cluster of health IT, financial services, and insurance headquarters, while Kansas City's growth in B2B software and logistics technology drives consistent demand, and Columbia benefits from university-affiliated technology employers anchoring its market.
Are there remote customer success jobs in Missouri?
Yes, and more than most fields, since customer success work is fundamentally desk-based and conducted over video, phone, and digital platforms. About 33% of customer success openings tied to Missouri are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how well the role transfers to distributed teams. Onboarding and technical account management positions tend to offer the greatest remote flexibility, while roles requiring on-site executive business reviews are more likely to be in-person.
How can I get hired as a customer success in Missouri with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving from a customer support or inside sales role into a junior customer success associate position, since Missouri employers at companies like Cerner, Centene, and regional SaaS firms routinely promote from their own support queues. Applying to customer success coordinator or onboarding specialist postings, which are explicitly designed for early-career candidates, is another direct route. Earning a Gainsight or HubSpot certification and building a portfolio of documented client interactions or case resolution examples meaningfully improves candidacy for Missouri hiring managers.
