Customer Success Manager Jobs in Missouri: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a customer success manager in Missouri?
Customer success manager roles in Missouri require no state-issued license or certification. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, combined with experience in account management, SaaS support, or client services. Certifications such as the Certified Customer Success Manager credential strengthen a candidacy. Missouri's large healthcare IT and technology employers in Kansas City and St. Louis frequently promote internally from support and implementation roles.
Which companies hire customer success managers in Missouri?
Missouri customer success manager roles are posted by SS&C, Elsevier, and Rippling and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Missouri's concentration of healthcare technology, logistics software, and enterprise SaaS firms means ongoing demand across both the Kansas City and St. Louis metropolitan areas.
Which Missouri cities have the most customer success manager jobs?
St. Louis, Missouri, and Raytown have the most customer success manager openings in Missouri. Kansas City leads because of its dense cluster of SaaS, financial technology, and healthcare IT headquarters, while St. Louis draws demand from enterprise software firms, managed care organizations, and logistics technology companies, making both metros consistently active for this role.
Are there remote customer success manager jobs in Missouri?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 33% of customer success manager openings tied to Missouri are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how naturally the role translates to distributed work. The portions of the role most commonly done remotely include client onboarding calls, quarterly business reviews, and ongoing account check-ins conducted over video.
How can I get hired as a customer success manager in Missouri with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a customer support, implementation specialist, or inside sales role at a Missouri technology or healthcare IT company. Firms like Oracle Health and World Wide Technology in the Kansas City corridor regularly hire associate customer success or client onboarding coordinators as stepping-stone positions. Building a portfolio that shows measurable retention or satisfaction improvements and earning a recognized customer success certification can offset limited direct experience for hiring managers at these employers.
Where can I find and apply to customer success manager jobs in Missouri?
You can find and apply to customer success manager jobs in Missouri on Migrate Mate, which lists current Missouri openings. Search the listings to find roles that match your experience level, industry background, and preferred location or remote arrangement, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
