Client Services Manager Jobs in Missouri: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a client services manager in Missouri?
Most client services manager roles in Missouri require a bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field. Missouri does not issue a state license specifically for this role, so hiring is based on experience and demonstrated client management skills. Many professionals move into the position after several years in customer success, account coordination, or inside sales. Industry-specific certifications such as a Project Management Professional credential or a Customer Success Manager certification can strengthen a candidacy considerably.
Which companies hire client services managers in Missouri?
Companies currently hiring client services managers in Missouri include RubinBrown, World Wide Technology, and PwC, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Missouri's concentration of financial services, managed care, and enterprise software firms means demand is distributed across both the Kansas City and St. Louis metro areas year-round.
Which Missouri cities have the most client services manager jobs?
St. Louis, Kansas City, and Springfield have the most client services manager openings in Missouri. Kansas City and St. Louis generate the bulk of postings because they are home to major financial services headquarters, large hospital systems, and regional technology firms, while Springfield's growing healthcare and insurance sector drives a consistent secondary market for the role.
Are there remote client services manager jobs in Missouri?
Yes, and more than most fields, since client services management is fundamentally a communication and coordination role that translates well to remote work. About 30% of client services manager openings tied to Missouri are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how broadly Missouri employers have embraced flexible arrangements for desk-based client roles. Account oversight and reporting responsibilities are the functions most commonly performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a client services manager in Missouri with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a client services coordinator or customer success associate role first, then building toward manager-level responsibilities. Large Missouri employers in financial services and healthcare, including regional banks and managed care organizations, regularly hire associates without direct management experience if they demonstrate strong communication skills and client instincts. Starting in inside sales, account support, or customer service at firms like those headquartered in the Kansas City or St. Louis corridors provides direct exposure to client relationship workflows that hiring managers value.
Where can I find and apply to client services manager jobs in Missouri?
You can find and apply to client services manager jobs in Missouri on Migrate Mate, which lists current Missouri openings. Search the listings to find roles that match your experience level, industry background, and preferred location, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
