This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

Who We Are
HII – Mission Technologies is seeking a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst provides critical, timely, and data‑driven insights to support decision‑making processes and strengthen defenses against supply chain vulnerabilities and adversarial threats to industry IT systems. This role delivers advanced analytics that support the identification of risks, trends, and emerging threat patterns while enabling stakeholders to make informed, strategic decisions.
The analyst processes and integrates structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, trends, correlations, and anomalies. Using advanced data science methodologies, the analyst supports entity extraction, disambiguation, visualization, COP/CIP solutions, and other data‑related analytic functions. This position works closely with customers to understand analytical problem sets, emerging threat vectors, and mission needs, applying quantitative and qualitative techniques to develop improved capabilities and solve complex challenges.
This requisition supports hiring at multiple experience levels. Final placement will be determined based on the selected applicant’s qualifications, experience, and skill sets.

What You Will Do
Provide timely and accurate data analytics, metrics, and insights to support data‑driven decision‑making and mitigate supply chain risks.
Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, trends, correlations, and anomalies.
Support entity extraction, disambiguation, and data transformation using advanced analytical tools and methodologies.
Develop data visualization products and dashboards to convey complex analytical findings in clear, actionable formats.
Contribute to Common Operating Picture (COP) and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) solutions through data integration and visualization.
Identify analytical problem sets, emerging threat trends, and stakeholder requirements for enhanced capabilities.
Apply data science skill sets to develop analytical solutions that address customer needs and mission priorities.
Conduct risk assessments related to supply chain vulnerabilities and adversarial threats targeting industry IT systems.
Collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to refine requirements and deliver mission‑focused analytic support.
Ensure high‑quality, accurate, and well‑documented analysis in all outputs.
What We Are Looking For
Level 3: 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
Level 4: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
Level 5: 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
Experience analyzing structured and unstructured datasets.
Proficiency with analytical tools and platforms (examples provided on request).
Ability to develop visualizations and dashboards that effectively convey analytical results.
Experience applying data science concepts such as pattern analysis, anomaly detection, and correlation analysis.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to identify emerging analytical challenges and threat trends.
Understanding of supply chain risk, cyber threats, or IT system vulnerabilities (desired but can be trained).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
