A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field is the standard starting point for digital marketing associate roles in South Carolina. There is no state-issued license required for this role. Most South Carolina employers look for candidates with platform experience, a portfolio of campaigns or content, and coursework or certifications in areas like Google Ads or HubSpot. Graduates from programs at the University of South Carolina, Clemson, or Coastal Carolina are commonly recruited by in-state employers.
Which companies hire digital marketing associates in South Carolina?
Companies currently hiring digital marketing associates in South Carolina include Hubbell, Screen Tight, and Trail Life USA, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. South Carolina's mix of manufacturing headquarters, regional healthcare systems, and technology firms like Blackbaud creates a varied hiring landscape for digital marketing roles across industries.
Which South Carolina cities have the most digital marketing associate jobs?
Greer, Greenville, and Belton have the most digital marketing associate openings in South Carolina. Columbia leads as the state capital and home to major institutions and corporate offices, while Charleston's booming tourism, hospitality, and tech sectors drive consistent demand, and Greenville's growing manufacturing and professional services base has added marketing roles tied to regional headquarters and supplier companies.
