Field Marketing Associate Jobs in South Carolina: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a field marketing associate in South Carolina?
Most field marketing associate roles in South Carolina require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications, though no state-issued license or certification is required for the role itself. Candidates who complete internships with South Carolina's manufacturing, healthcare, or consumer brands gain a meaningful edge. Building a portfolio of campaign results, event recaps, or territory reports strengthens applications considerably when competing for roles at larger regional employers.
Which companies hire field marketing associates in South Carolina?
Companies currently hiring field marketing associates in South Carolina include LGI Homes, Southern Industries, and Lennar, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. South Carolina's mix of global manufacturers, regional healthcare networks, and growing consumer brands creates steady field marketing demand outside the largest metros.
Which South Carolina cities have the most field marketing associate jobs?
Greenville, Fort Mill, and Rock Hill account for the most field marketing associate openings in South Carolina. Columbia draws activity as the state capital and home to large healthcare and government contractors, Charleston supports consumer and hospitality sector campaigns, and Greenville reflects the Upstate's dense concentration of BMW, Michelin, and their supplier networks that regularly staff regional marketing roles.
Are there remote field marketing associate jobs in South Carolina?
Yes, but they're rare. Field marketing is fundamentally an in-territory, in-person discipline built around retail visits, events, and direct market activation, so most roles require a physical presence. About 17% of field marketing associate openings tied to South Carolina are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and those tend to cover reporting, planning, or campaign coordination duties rather than the core field execution work.
How can I get hired as a field marketing associate in South Carolina with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying for marketing coordinator or brand ambassador roles at South Carolina's larger consumer goods distributors, healthcare systems like MUSC Health or Prisma Health, or the regional offices of manufacturers in the Greenville-Spartanburg Upstate corridor. Event staffing agencies that support Michelin or BMW supplier activations also place candidates without full-time experience. A Google Analytics or HubSpot certification adds credibility when a formal marketing degree is still in progress.
Where can I find and apply to field marketing associate jobs in South Carolina?
You can find and apply to field marketing associate jobs in South Carolina on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the listings, find roles that match your background and location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
