About this role
ReflexAI’s Field Marketing & Events Manager shapes and executes ReflexAI's events program with precision and creative excellence across conferences, tradeshows, executive forums, hosted experiences, and virtual events. The role coordinates closely with sales, customer success, product marketing, demand generation, design, and external vendors to ensure every event is executed on time, on brand, and on brief. You’ll bring genuine creative instinct to the experience layer: how the brand shows up, how guests move through the experience, the moments that create connection, the swag, the venue details, the run-of-show moments that make an event feel considered rather than assembled. You'll represent ReflexAI on-site with prospects and customers, understanding who our executive audience is and what they care about, and speaking to our work with credibility.
What you'll do
Partner with the Head of Marketing to translate ReflexAI's positioning and story into field and event experiences, ensuring every touchpoint feels distinct to our brand, wherever we show up.
Own end-to-end delivery for all event types: tradeshows, executive forums, hosted dinners, online events and conference activations, including vendor management (booth design/production, shipping, A/V, venues, catering, swag).
Own webinar and virtual event production end-to-end: platform setup, registration and reminder flows, speaker prep and tech run-throughs, day-of moderation support, and post-event asset delivery (recording, follow-up email)
Turn event briefs into clear plans that align our team on audience, desired outcomes, experience approach, and operational needs with clear owners, deadlines, and dependencies. Maintain the templates and standards that keep quality consistent as the program scales.
Work with product marketing and customer success to recruit customers for co-speaking opportunities and coordinate their full participation (travel, run-of-show, prep calls, on-site experience), ensuring they're engaged intentionally.
Manage gifting and direct mail programs: ABM outreach coordinated with sales and growth, and thank-you gifts for customers, speakers, and case study contributors — owning vendor selection, curation, and fulfillment logistics so every gift lands with thoughtful timing.
Proactively coordinate with sales, product marketing, demand generation, customer success, and design: briefing sales before every event, aligning with demand gen on outreach, keeping stakeholders updated with structured communication, flagging risks early, and ensuring post-event follow-up happens on schedule. Close the loop with clean recaps (actuals vs. plan) and patterns that inform future planning.
Requirements for a great fit
5+ years of event marketing or field marketing experience in B2B SaaS
A track record of exceptional execution. You anticipate details others miss, build systems that prevent surprises, and stay composed and resourceful when plans change.

Experience managing both tradeshows and high-touch, intimate formats (hosted dinners, roundtables, or executive forums).
Experience running webinars or virtual events, including platform management and registration/promotion coordination
A genuine creative sensibility for events. You have opinions about what makes an experience memorable and you can articulate them
Comfortable and confident representing a brand on-site with prospects and customers
Strong written communication: clear enough to brief a vendor, direct enough to flag a risk to your manager
Willingness and ability to travel multiple times per year

Working alongside a team that is exceptionally smart and ambitious, but also humble and kind

Field Marketing Associate Jobs in Illinois: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a field marketing associate in Illinois?
Field marketing associate roles in Illinois do not require a state-issued license or registration. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications alongside some hands-on field or retail experience. Chicago-area companies frequently recruit through university career fairs at institutions like the University of Illinois at Chicago and DePaul University. Building a portfolio of event activations, campaign results, or territory sales data strengthens any application considerably.
Which companies hire field marketing associates in Illinois?
Employers hiring field marketing associates in Illinois right now include EY, Okta, and Perk, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Illinois's dense concentration of consumer goods headquarters and regional distribution hubs means field marketing roles open consistently throughout the year, not just in seasonal bursts.
Which Illinois cities have the most field marketing associate jobs?
Chicago, Illinois, and Lisle account for the largest share of field marketing associate openings in Illinois. Chicago drives the bulk of demand because of its corporate headquarters density in consumer goods, healthcare, and technology, while Naperville and Deerfield attract openings tied to the large suburban campuses of companies like Kraft Heinz and Medline that require dedicated territory coverage in the broader metropolitan market.
Are there remote field marketing associate jobs in Illinois?
Yes, but they're rare. About 91% of field marketing associate openings tied to Illinois are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how fundamentally in-person this role is. The parts of the work most amenable to remote arrangements are campaign planning, reporting, and coordination calls, while in-store activation, event staffing, and retailer relationship visits require a physical presence.
How can I get hired as a field marketing associate in Illinois with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a brand ambassador or field merchandiser role at a consumer goods company, which Illinois has in abundance given its Chicago-area headquarters cluster. Large employers like Kraft Heinz and McDonald's corporate run structured rotational or associate marketing programs that specifically accept recent graduates. Lateral moves from retail management, event coordination, or inside sales are also common. A portfolio showing measurable results from campus organizations, freelance promotions, or volunteer event work gives candidates a clear edge over applicants with only coursework.
Where can I find and apply to field marketing associate jobs in Illinois?
You can find and apply to field marketing associate jobs in Illinois on Migrate Mate, which lists current Illinois openings in one place. Search the available roles, find the ones that match your experience and preferred location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
