We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Electrician or highly experienced electrician to join our team.
This role involves overseeing electrical projects, ensuring safety compliance, and leading a team of electricians on diverse construction and renovation sites. Duties
- Lead and supervise electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities across multiple construction sites and renovation projects
- Ensure all work complies with NEC (National Electrical Code), local regulations, and safety standards including high voltage and low voltage systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify system integrity
- Train and mentor junior electricians on proper techniques, safety protocols, schematics reading, and troubleshooting methods
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including incident reports, inspection logs, and compliance records
- Support the procurement of materials and tools necessary for electrical projects while managing project timelines effectively
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical systems
- Extensive hands-on experience with electrical wiring, conduit installation, circuit breakers, and control panels
- Strong knowledge of NEC standards as they apply to both low voltage and high voltage installations
- Experience working on construction sites with familiarity in renovation environments
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers; power tools; ohmmeters; and other testing devices
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently using schematics and diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with construction safety protocols including OSHA regulations is essential
