Overview
Sunpath Solar is seeking an organized, personable, and sales-oriented Inside Sales & Community Engagement Manager to help manage the front end of our sales process and ensure prospective customers receive a responsive, professional, and educational experience. This is a blended role combining inside sales, sales administration, customer engagement, and community outreach. The majority of the position is focused on managing inbound leads, qualifying prospective customers, maintaining our CRM and sales pipeline, coordinating appointments and handoffs, following up with opportunities, and supporting the broader sales team. The role also serves as an important public-facing representative of Sunpath, helping build relationships with community organizations, nonprofits, houses of worship, schools, local governments, and other partners.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people but is also highly organized and process-oriented — someone who can have a great conversation with a prospective customer and then make sure every note, task, document, and next step is accurately captured and followed through. The role is approximately 70% inside sales and sales administration, with the remaining time focused on customer education, sales support, and community engagement.
Description
Inside Sales & Lead Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound leads from phone, email, website inquiries, referrals, marketing campaigns, and community events.
- Qualify prospective customers by gathering project goals, property and utility information, timelines, decision-making criteria, and required supporting documents.
- Schedule consultations and proposal reviews, maintain consistent follow-up with active and older leads, and re-engage opportunities that have stalled.
- Provide introductory education about solar, battery storage, financing, incentives, project timelines, and Sunpath's sales and installation process.
Sales Administration & CRM
- Maintain complete and accurate CRM records, including lead status, customer communications, qualification notes, appointments, and follow-up tasks.
- Manage the flow of opportunities through the sales pipeline and coordinate effective handoffs to outside sales representatives and other team members.
- Develop and maintain CRM best practices, dashboards, KPIs, reporting, and sales SOPs from initial inquiry through project turnover.
- Support proposal follow-up, appointment confirmation, customer communications, and other activities needed to move qualified opportunities toward contract.
- Identify and implement improvements to lead intake, follow-up, CRM management, and sales processes.
Community Engagement & Outreach
- Develop and maintain relationships with neighborhood organizations, nonprofits, schools, houses of worship, municipal partners, and other community organizations.
- Develop, coordinate, and represent Sunpath at community events, workshops, tabling opportunities, speaking engagements, and other outreach activities.
- Coordinate event materials and outreach efforts with Marketing, and ensure resulting leads are captured, qualified, and followed up through the sales process.
- Track community engagement activities and outcomes to evaluate the effectiveness of events and partnerships.
Additional Sales Responsibilities
- Participate in ongoing training on solar technology, products, financing, policy, and Sunpath's consultation process.
- As assigned, present, manage, and close specific sales opportunities in addition to the role's primary inside-sales responsibilities.
- Provide general support for the Atlanta office, including coordination of facilities, vendors, deliveries, and workspace needs as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is also exceptionally organized. They should enjoy talking with customers, asking questions, following up, and helping people navigate a decision, while also being comfortable managing CRM systems, tracking details, maintaining processes, and holding themselves accountable for follow-through.
We would especially value candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Inside sales
- Sales coordination or sales administration
- Customer service or customer success
- CRM administration
- Business development
- Community engagement or outreach
- Solar, home improvement, construction, or other consultative sales environments
Solar industry experience is helpful but not required. The ability to learn technical information, communicate clearly, stay organized, and consistently follow through is more important.

Engagement Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become an engagement manager in Georgia?
Most engagement manager roles in Georgia require a bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field, plus several years of project or account management experience. No state-issued license is required in Georgia, but earning a Project Management Professional certification through the Project Management Institute strengthens your candidacy significantly. Many Georgia employers in consulting and technology services also value candidates who have progressed through analyst or project manager roles within their own organizations.
Which companies hire engagement managers in Georgia?
Employers hiring engagement managers in Georgia right now include REPLY, AbbVie, and Intuit, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's large concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and technology services firms in the Atlanta metro makes it one of the more active markets in the Southeast for this role.
Which Georgia cities have the most engagement manager jobs?
Atlanta, Georgia, and Alpharetta lead Georgia for engagement manager openings. Atlanta generates the largest share by far given its density of consulting firms, enterprise technology companies, and corporate headquarters, while Alpharetta's suburban tech corridor and Savannah's growing logistics and port-related professional services sector account for meaningful hiring outside the core city.
Are there remote engagement manager jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. Engagement manager work is largely communication and coordination-driven, which makes it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 67% of engagement manager openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting broad employer flexibility in this role. Client-facing delivery phases and onboarding periods tend to require the most in-person presence, while planning, reporting, and internal coordination are commonly handled remotely.
How can I get hired as an engagement manager in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving up from a project coordinator or business analyst role within a Georgia-based consulting or technology firm. Large Atlanta employers like Accenture and IBM run analyst development programs that feed directly into engagement management tracks. Building a PMP or Agile certification while in a supporting role signals readiness for client ownership. Lateral moves from account management or customer success positions are also common entry points that Georgia hiring managers recognize as equivalent preparation.
Where can I find and apply to engagement manager jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to engagement manager jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings across industries and experience levels. Search the available roles, find the ones that fit your background and target location, and apply directly.
