Position Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote

About the Role
We’re looking for a tech-savvy, highly organized Engagement Manager to oversee client engagements, coordinate remote teams, and make sure projects move forward smoothly in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
This is not a traditional call center or customer service role. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with technology, managing multiple priorities, solving problems independently, and operating in a fast-moving environment where processes are constantly evolving.
Experience working with AI startups, SaaS companies, tech companies, digital agencies, or other high-growth businesses is highly preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Own day-to-day client engagements and ensure projects stay on track.
- Coordinate between clients, internal teams, and remote talent to keep deliverables moving.
- Monitor project progress, priorities, deadlines, and potential roadblocks.
- Proactively identify issues and recommend practical solutions before they become bigger problems.
- Build strong working relationships with clients while maintaining clear boundaries and expectations.
- Translate client needs into clear action items for internal teams.
- Use project management, collaboration, and productivity tools to organize workflows and track progress.
- Maintain visibility across multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Help improve processes, workflows, documentation, and systems as the business scales.
- Analyze operational information and use data to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with leadership to resolve escalations and improve the overall client experience.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities, new technologies, and evolving business needs.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in client operations, customer success, account management, project management, business operations, or a similar role.
- Experience working in a technology-driven, startup, SaaS, AI, or high-growth environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.
- Comfortable working across platforms such as project management tools, CRMs, communication platforms, spreadsheets, and other cloud-based systems.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously.
- Highly proactive — able to identify what needs to be done without waiting for instructions.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You
- Enjoy figuring out how systems and processes can work better.
- Are naturally curious about technology and new tools.
- Can move quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Think in terms of solutions, processes, and outcomes, rather than simply completing assigned tasks.
- Are comfortable working directly with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Have experience in a startup or environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Can take ownership of an engagement from problem identification through resolution.
Important
This role is best suited for candidates with experience in tech, SaaS, AI, startups, digital operations, project management, or client operations.
Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to traditional call-center, BPO, or highly scripted customer service environments may not be the best fit for this position.

Engagement Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a engagement manager in Florida?
Most Florida employers expect a bachelor's degree in business, management, or a technical field, followed by several years in consulting, project delivery, or client services. There is no state-issued license for engagement managers in Florida. Candidates who progress fastest typically build a portfolio of delivered engagements, earn a PMP or Agile certification, and move into the role through senior analyst or project manager positions at Florida-based consulting firms or large enterprise technology organizations.
Which companies hire engagement managers in Florida?
Employers hiring engagement managers in Florida right now include Target, Centene, and OpsArmy, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's concentration of Fortune 500 regional headquarters, major healthcare systems, and large financial services firms creates steady demand for engagement managers who can lead complex client programs.
Which Florida cities have the most engagement manager jobs?
Tampa, Miami, and Jacksonville account for the largest share of engagement manager openings in Florida. Miami's concentration of multinational corporations and financial services firms drives the most activity, while Tampa's growing technology and healthcare IT sectors and Orlando's large hospitality technology and services economy support consistent openings across all three metros.
Are there remote engagement manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields, since engagement management is fundamentally a communication and delivery coordination role that translates well to distributed work. About 75% of engagement manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly Florida employers have adopted flexible arrangements. Discovery, planning, and stakeholder reporting phases tend to be the most remote-compatible parts of the role.
How can I get hired as a engagement manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a project coordinator or analyst role at a Florida-based consulting or technology services firm, then moving up after demonstrating delivery ownership. Large Florida employers like Accenture and Deloitte run structured analyst programs that advance candidates into client-facing engagement roles. Earning a PMP or CAPM credential and building measurable project outcomes, even from internal or volunteer work, meaningfully strengthens a Florida application at the associate engagement manager level.
Where can I find and apply to engagement manager jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to engagement manager jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings from employers across the state. Find roles that fit your experience and location preference and apply directly to each one.
