OUR APPROACH TO FLEXIBLE WORK
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email accommodations@workday.com.

Engagement Manager Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a engagement manager in New York?
The engagement manager role in New York has no state-issued license, but the standard hiring path runs through a bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related discipline, followed by several years in consulting, account management, or project delivery. New York employers in financial services and consulting frequently look for candidates who have progressed through analyst or associate roles before moving into engagement management. A PMP certification strengthens candidacy, and familiarity with enterprise client environments typical of Manhattan-based professional services firms is a practical advantage.
Which companies hire engagement managers in New York?
Employers hiring engagement managers in New York right now include Genpact, M&T Bank, and Workday, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. New York's concentration of global consulting firms, financial institutions, and enterprise technology companies means hiring volume here tends to be higher and more consistent than in most other states.
Which New York cities have the most engagement manager jobs?
New York, Buffalo, and New York City have the most engagement manager openings in New York. New York City accounts for the large majority of postings given its concentration of consulting firms, investment banks, and global professional services headquarters, while White Plains and other metro-adjacent locations reflect employers that maintain regional offices serving the broader tri-state client base.
Are there remote engagement manager jobs in New York?
Yes, though the role leans toward hybrid rather than fully remote because client relationship management and internal stakeholder work often require in-person presence. About 26% of engagement manager openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of June 2026. The portions of the role most amenable to remote work include project status reporting, internal coordination, and work that sits within established client accounts rather than early-stage business development.
How can I get hired as a engagement manager in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an associate or analyst role within a consulting or professional services firm, where you work on client engagements before taking on coordination responsibilities directly. Large New York consulting practices at firms like Deloitte, Accenture, and PwC run structured analyst programs that build toward client-facing roles. Candidates coming from adjacent positions in project coordination, account management, or business analysis have the strongest lateral entry point, and earning a PMP or completing a project management certificate adds measurable credibility for a first engagement manager role.
Where can I find and apply to engagement manager jobs in New York?
You can find and apply to engagement manager jobs in New York on Migrate Mate, which lists current New York openings. Find a role that fits and apply directly.
