Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and innovative individual to join our team as a Lead, Project Engineer. This position involves technical leadership and oversight of the requirements, design, analysis, development, test & evaluation of systems. Responsibilities include technical management of new and existing products, and new development project planning and execution. This role will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplined engineering team on complex projects at various phases of project life cycle. Work closely with the Program Manager, engineering team, manufacturing, quality and other departments as necessary to expedite project completion and most importantly meet the customer expectations.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to obtain a US security clearance
- Serves as lead on technical proposals and program execution
- Responsible for managing and directing program management teams with the cost, schedule, technical, and contractual performance requirements of a complex technical program portfolio through the life-cycle phases of development, implementation, and operations. This includes utilizing Earned Value Management, maintaining an integrated master schedule, managing development and testing to a technical baseline, and maintaining an active and proactive risk management program. Responsible for budget management and financial execution of the portfolio.

- Ensures life-cycle process adherence
- Proactively manages risk, including identification and mitigation plans, and issue elevation and resolution

Experience leading geographically diverse program teams comprised of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) with membership from multiple Company and potentially partner organizations.
