- Establish workstream-specific model standards, certified dataset patterns, and reusable measure libraries. 30%
Governance, Certification & SOX Compliance: Define and enforce semantic layer governance frameworks including dataset certification workflows, row-level security (RLS), object-level security (OLS), and sensitivity label policies.
- Partner with Audit and Finance to ensure SOX-compliant lineage, access controls, and change management processes for financial reporting models. 25%
Tool Integration: BI Platforms, Anthropic & Downstream Consumers: Architect interoperability between Microsoft Fabric semantic models and downstream consumption tools including third-party BI platforms (Tableau, Qlik Sense, MicroStrategy, Grafana, and others), Anthropic-based AI/LLM applications (Claude), and Excel.
- Define connectivity patterns, query optimization strategies, and security passthrough standards for each integration channel. 20%
Stakeholder Alignment & Technical Advisory: Engage workstream leads, data owners, and senior management to translate business requirements into semantic model designs.
