What You’ll Do
Front Desk Leadership & Pet Parent Experience
- Deliver a warm, high-energy welcome to pet parents and their pups during morning drop-offs and evening pick-ups.
- Serve as the primary point of contact via phone, email, and front desk walk-ins—answering service questions, managing bookings, and addressing client feedback with care and professionalism.
- Manage client accounts, update vaccination and behavioral profiles, process payments accurately, and maintain a spotless, organized lobby.
- Educate clients on our full range of services—including daycare, overnight boarding, grooming, and training—matching dogs with the best programs to support their well-being.
- Partner with the Front End Manager to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
- Step in to support the back of house as needed.
- Communicate vital behavioral or health updates directly between handlers, management, and owners.
What We’re Looking For
- Animal Care Experience: At least 3–6 months of hands-on experience in a professional dog daycare, boarding facility, veterinary clinic, shelter, or grooming salon.
- Front-of-House Background: Prior reception, front desk experience is mandatory.
- Leadership Drive: Previous supervisory or shift-lead experience is a plus, but we welcome experienced front desk specialists ready to take the next step into management.
- Cool Under Pressure: Strong multitasking ability, comfortable switching between energetic dogs, phone calls, and client check-ins without losing your composure.
- Schedule Availability: Full-time flexibility for mid-day to evening shifts, including rotating weekend shifts and peak pet-care holidays.
- Passion for Dogs: Deep empathy for pets, an understanding of basic dog body language, and a commitment to animal safety and welfare.
