Financial Analyst Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a financial analyst in New Hampshire?
Most financial analyst roles in New Hampshire require a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business. New Hampshire does not require a state-issued license to work as a financial analyst in corporate or healthcare settings. Analysts pursuing securities or investment advisory work must register through FINRA and comply with New Hampshire Bureau of Securities Regulation requirements. The CFA credential is widely respected by New Hampshire employers and strengthens candidacy at every career level.
How much do financial analysts make in New Hampshire?
Financial analysts in New Hampshire earn a median of about $82,520 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $48,660 for the lowest 10% to over $160,010 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire financial analysts in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire financial analyst roles are posted by Amphenol, Hubbell, and Circle K and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's concentration of defense contractors, regional insurers, and large healthcare systems means consistent analyst demand across multiple industries throughout the year.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most financial analyst jobs?
Manchester, Nashua, and New Hampshire have the most financial analyst openings in New Hampshire. Manchester and Nashua anchor the state's commercial and corporate finance activity, drawing employers from technology, insurance, and defense sectors, while Concord's concentration of state government agencies, healthcare institutions, and financial services firms sustains steady analyst hiring in the capital region.
Are there remote financial analyst jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 80% of financial analyst openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how naturally the analytical and reporting work translates to remote environments. FP&A, financial reporting, and budgeting roles are the most likely to offer remote or hybrid arrangements, while positions requiring close coordination with local operations teams tend to remain on-site.
How can I get hired as a financial analyst in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a finance coordinator, accounting associate, or junior analyst role with a large New Hampshire employer such as a regional hospital system, an insurance company, or a defense contractor. Dartmouth Health, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Hampshire, and BAE Systems have all hired analysts from adjacent roles like accounts payable specialist or data analyst. A completed bachelor's degree in finance or accounting combined with Excel proficiency and any progress toward the CFA exam meaningfully strengthens a new-grad application in this market.
