Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and foster a vibrant, compliant, and productive workplace environment. In this role, you will oversee all facets of human resources management, from talent acquisition and employee relations to benefits, administration and compliance. Your proactive approach will drive organizational growth, enhance workforce engagement, and ensure our HR practices align with company goals and legal standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape our company culture while managing complex HR functions with enthusiasm and precision.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top candidates to build a strong workforce.
- Develop and implement effective employee orientation programs that promote engagement and retention from day one.
- Oversee employee evaluation systems, ensuring consistent performance management and constructive feedback across teams.
- Manage benefits administration, including health plans, retirement programs, and workers' compensation claims to support employee well-being.
- Ensure compliance with employment law, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and other legal requirements through diligent regulatory management.
- Drive change management initiatives by facilitating organizational design projects and strategic planning efforts that align with business objectives.
- Utilize HR systems such as HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms like Oracle HCM or UltiPro for data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform decision-making.
- Handle sensitive confidential information with integrity while maintaining clear communication channels across departments.
- Support HR sourcing efforts by leveraging ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and other tools to streamline recruiting processes.
- Promote positive employee relations through conflict management, effective communication skills, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management or HR department leadership with a comprehensive understanding of employment & labor law.
- Strong background in human capital management, talent management, performance management, training & development, and succession planning.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data analysis), HRIS platforms (such as Oracle HCM or UltiPro), and HR systems support tools like Lever or Workday.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information professionally and effectively manage employee relations issues.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, affirmative action planning, and personnel administration practices.
- Ability to analyze data for strategic insights using Excel data analysis techniques; experience with data collection tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with recruiting strategies using ATS platforms; experience in employment & talent sourcing is highly desirable.
- Organizational design expertise coupled with a proactive approach to change management initiatives.
