PEDIATRIC SCHEDULING COORDINATOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Phone etiquette
• Insurance Verification
• Patient eligibility verification
• Excel Spreadsheet management for Therapy department
• Contact various insurance companies (MCOs) to obtain pre-authorization
• Schedule Therapists with Therapy services such as PT, OT, and ST
• Ability to properly utilize HHAeXchange Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) - It connects state Medicaid agencies, managed care organizations (MCOs), home care providers, and caregivers to streamline scheduling, billing, and compliance
• Enter Nurses and Therapist schedule in the EMR
• Read doctor’s orders and referral/discharge documents
• Ability to fax document manually and electronically
• Photocopying and filing documents
• Ability to compose and send email

HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Explain company policies and procedures to New Hired employees. Handle essential recruitment tasks, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, calling candidates, and scheduling interviews and hire new employees to the organization. Conduct On-boarding and off boarding. Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data. Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data. Entering, formatting, and printing information. Organizes new hire paperwork and employee folders. Ensuring that employee credentials and licenses are up to date and current. E-Verify, Background check, OIG check (monthly). Performs compliance duties. Answers telephones, relays messages, and maintains equipment and supplies. Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential. Maintains quality service by following organization standards. Answer questions regarding employees Benefits etc.

The Human Resources Assistant / Scheduling Coordinator's primary focus will be to provide scheduling, administrative, and operating support for the office. Must have One to two years experience in the healthcare field required, preferably Home Health.

Proficient with computer and typing skills (Ability to type at least 35 words/min)

Proficient with Excel, Microsoft word, power point, EMR

Bilingual (Spanish speaking)

Some college education. Associate Degree or bachelor's Degree a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
