Business Development Representative – Maintenance Sales

Perfection Group is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to help grow our commercial HVAC maintenance business throughout Louisville and Lexington and the surrounding market.

In this role, you’ll develop new commercial and industrial customers, build relationships with facility and business leaders, and create customized maintenance solutions that provide meaningful operational and financial value. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys prospecting, consultative selling, and building long-term customer partnerships.

What You’ll Do

• Identify, prospect, and qualify new commercial and industrial customers
• Develop relationships with facility leaders, maintenance teams, business owners, executives, and other decision-makers
• Conduct discovery meetings and facility assessments to understand customer needs, priorities, and challenges
• Develop and present customized commercial HVAC maintenance solutions
• Communicate the operational and financial value of Perfection Group’s services
• Prepare proposals, financial analyses, and business justifications
• Deliver professional presentations to individuals, leadership teams, and decision-making groups
• Manage opportunities throughout the full sales process—from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close
• Maintain consistent sales activity and a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Accurately document customer activity, opportunities, and forecasts in HubSpot
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and technical team members on complex opportunities
• Identify opportunities for customers to benefit from additional Perfection Group services, including repairs, projects, controls, energy solutions, and facility services
• Represent Perfection Group at customer meetings, networking events, association meetings, and community activities

What We’re Looking For

• One to three years of successful business-to-business sales, business development, or relationship-management experience
• Experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical services, facility services, construction, or another service-based industry is preferred
• Proven ability to prospect, develop relationships, and create new business opportunities
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-through skills
• Ability to interact confidently with individuals at all levels of an organization
• Consultative approach to identifying needs and developing customer solutions
• Comfort discussing budgets, financial value, and purchasing decisions
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
• Ability to collaborate with operational and technical teams
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Experience using HubSpot or another CRM, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, and business-reporting tools
• Willingness to travel throughout Nashville and the surrounding market

A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience, demonstrated sales performance, relationship-building ability, and a willingness to learn our business are equally important.
