Overview

As a Licensed Insurance Agent, you’ll help clients understand their options and select coverage that fits their needs. You’ll build relationships through responsive customer service, clear communication, and thoughtful follow-up. Your impact: By matching clients with suitable coverage and explaining their choices, you help them make informed decisions and protect what matters to them.

Duties

• Generate and develop leads through outside sales, telemarketing, retail sales, and referrals.
• Assess client needs and explain relevant health, life, property and casualty, and commercial insurance options.
• Prepare quotes, discuss coverage, negotiate terms within authorized guidelines, and support enrollment.
• Maintain client records, follow up on service requests, and manage sales administration in a customer relationship management (CRM) system.
• Review policies and transactions for accuracy and compliance with applicable insurance regulations.

Skills

• Required: Active insurance license for the products and jurisdictions handled; strong sales, customer service, communication, and client relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of insurance sales and relevant products, including health insurance, life insurance, property and casualty insurance, and commercial insurance.
• Ability to analyze client needs, negotiate professionally, and manage detailed administrative work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems; familiarity with benefits administration is useful.
• Bilingual or multilingual communication skills and retail sales experience are preferred.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
