Job Summary
The Pricing Operations Lead Specialist is responsible for supporting pricing activities for investments held by Key Private Bank clients on our accounting system, Global Plus. Timely and accurate pricing ensures securities are valued correctly on customer statements, valued correctly for client fees and for investment review purposes.
The specialist is responsible for monitoring the daily automated pricing interfaces and reviewing alternative investment valuation statements and updating pricing based on this analysis. Additionally, the specialist assists with the monthly stale priced asset control process and may aid in projects to streamline and improve department processes.
This position provides support to Department Manager, Section Manager, and Associates to ensure accurate and timely pricing of securities on Global Plus. The individual will assist and support Investment/Trust professionals in a Trust and Investment Management environment. Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem resolution skills, as well as basic Excel knowledge, are critical to succeeding in this position.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the accurate and timely pricing of securities on Global Plus accounting system.
- Monitors daily automated pricing interfaces and reporting.
- Reviews alternative investment valuation statements and updates pricing based on analysis.
- Works to identify pricing alternatives for securities that are not priced through automation.
- Develops and maintains relationships with multiple stakeholders, including external investment managers, line of business partners, and operations personnel.
- Inputs data into accounting system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Identifies, initiates, and develops process improvement opportunities. Works with department leadership team to implement improvements.
- Assists with departmental projects.
- Updates and maintain policies and procedures.
- Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and the bank.
- Perform other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities, and/or activities may change, or new ones may be assigned, at any time, with or without notice.

Education
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business-related area or equivalent work experience
Work Experience
Minimum 1 year of work experience in the financial services industry is preferred; investment operations experience is helpful
Experience working with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word) required

Physical Demands
General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $18.75 - $25.00 per hour. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
