About The Hive
The Hive is a trauma informed women’s wellness studio in Windsor Locks, founded by a licensed marriage and family therapist and co owned with a movement and bodywork practitioner. Women come to us to slow down and simply receive, through yoga and movement classes, our private infrared sauna, and massage and body rituals offered in a calm, private treatment room. Many of the women we serve are carrying a great deal, and our whole studio is designed to help their bodies feel safe enough to settle.
About the role
We’re looking for a licensed massage therapist who understands that touch can be deeply healing when it’s offered with presence, consent and care. You’ll join a small, supportive team providing restorative massage and bodywork to women, in a space where you’re encouraged to work at a pace that honors both your clients and yourself.
What you’ll do
- Provide restorative and therapeutic massage to women in a private, peaceful treatment room
- Offer a trauma informed experience, with clear consent, choice and gentle check-ins throughout each session
- Help women feel welcomed, safe and cared for from the moment they arrive
- [Optional: offer specialty services such as lymphatic drainage, gua sha, Thai bodywork or facials, if you’re trained in them]
What we’re looking for
- Current Connecticut massage therapist license in good standing

- Warmth, professionalism and a genuine interest in women’s wellbeing
- Comfort working with clients who may be carrying stress, grief or trauma
- Experience in lymphatic drainage, Thai massage, prenatal massage or esthetics is a plus, but not required
