Marketing Account Manager Jobs in Vermont: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing account manager in Vermont?
Marketing account manager roles in Vermont do not require a state-issued license or registration. Most employers hire candidates with a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business along with client-facing work experience. Vermont employers, particularly those in Burlington's tech and financial services sectors, value candidates who can demonstrate measurable client results through a portfolio or case studies rather than credentials alone.
Which companies hire marketing account managers in Vermont?
Employers hiring marketing account managers in Vermont right now include Avantor, Vail Resorts, and Fuse Marketing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Vermont's mix of technology firms, healthcare organizations, and financial services companies creates consistent demand for account managers who can manage complex client relationships across multiple industries.
Which Vermont cities have the most marketing account manager jobs?
Colchester, Vermont, and Montpelier have the most marketing account manager openings in Vermont. Burlington anchors the market as the state's largest city, home to its financial services firms, healthcare systems, and technology companies, while South Burlington and Montpelier see additional hiring driven by state government contractors and regional professional services firms operating near the capital.
Are there remote marketing account manager jobs in Vermont?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 33% of marketing account manager openings tied to Vermont are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how naturally the role adapts to digital communication and cloud-based tools. Client strategy, campaign reporting, and digital account oversight are the parts of the role most commonly performed fully remote.
How can I get hired as a marketing account manager in Vermont with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a coordinator or marketing associate role at a Vermont agency or in-house marketing team, then moving into account management after demonstrating client communication skills. Burlington-area employers in technology and healthcare often hire marketing coordinators or junior account associates as entry points. Building a portfolio of campaign results, even from internships or volunteer projects, and earning a Google Analytics or HubSpot certification gives candidates a measurable edge over applicants without direct experience.
Where can I find and apply to marketing account manager jobs in Vermont?
You can find and apply to marketing account manager jobs in Vermont on Migrate Mate, which lists current Vermont openings. Find roles that fit your experience and location and apply directly through each listing.
