Customer Marketing Manager Jobs in Vermont: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a customer marketing manager in Vermont?
Most customer marketing manager roles in Vermont require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications, with no state-issued license or registration required for the role itself. Vermont employers typically want candidates who have progressed through coordinator or specialist roles, built measurable experience with CRM and email platforms, and can show campaign results tied to retention or expansion revenue. Adding a recognized certification in marketing automation or customer success strengthens applications considerably with Vermont's mid-market and enterprise employers.
Which companies hire customer marketing managers in Vermont?
Vermont customer marketing manager roles are posted by CVS Health, Vail Resorts, and Fuse Marketing and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Vermont's mix of financial services, technology, and consumer-facing companies creates consistent year-round demand for this function across Burlington and the surrounding Chittenden County corridor.
Which Vermont cities have the most customer marketing manager jobs?
Vermont, Colchester, and Newport account for the largest share of customer marketing manager openings in Vermont. Burlington drives the most volume as the state's commercial and technology hub, home to corporate offices and regional headquarters, while South Burlington and Montpelier contribute openings through financial services firms and state-adjacent organizations that maintain dedicated marketing teams.
Are there remote customer marketing manager jobs in Vermont?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 40% of customer marketing manager openings tied to Vermont are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how thoroughly this role depends on digital tools and cross-functional coordination rather than physical presence. Campaign management, customer segmentation, and lifecycle strategy work are the sub-functions most consistently offered as fully remote positions by Vermont-based employers.
How can I get hired as a customer marketing manager in Vermont with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a marketing coordinator or customer success associate role at a Vermont technology, financial services, or consumer goods company, then moving laterally into customer marketing after demonstrating campaign ownership. Employers like National Life Group and Burlington-area SaaS companies routinely hire recent graduates into marketing operations or customer success roles that feed into customer marketing functions. Building a portfolio of email or lifecycle campaigns, even from internships or contract projects, and earning a HubSpot or Salesforce certification meaningfully closes the experience gap for Vermont hiring managers.
Where can I find and apply to customer marketing manager jobs in Vermont?
You can find and apply to customer marketing manager jobs in Vermont on Migrate Mate, which lists current Vermont openings from employers across the state. Find roles that fit your background and apply directly to the ones that match.
