Overview
Growth Systems sits within GBSG and is the infrastructure behind a multi-billion-dollar business growing at double digits. The team designs the processes, automation, capabilities and monetization that make that growth possible across our websites, campaigns, and in product customer experiences.
The Director of Growth Systems is responsible for leading process architecture, advancing technical enablement, and growth through delivery of marketing experiences for our customers.
We're looking for a technical leader who can build business momentum by configuring our systems for speed and scale, while ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and brand trust across every customer-facing marketing touchpoint. This executive will lead the transition toward AI-driven models and orchestrate complex, agentic, multi-channel, personalized experiences across our platforms. Additionally, this person will lead the teams of agents running autonomous campaigns, and own the quality and governance standards that protect the customer experience at scale.
Responsibilities
AI & Automation Strategy: Identify, build, and scale automation — AI-powered tooling and QA — that cuts manual effort and compresses delivery timelines.Self-Service Enablement: Architect self-service capabilities that give internal teams direct access to assets and workflows, removing dependency on manual request queues.
Governance of Customer Experience: Own accuracy, accessibility, and quality standards across web, email, and campaign experiences; run the QA, monitoring, and investigation processes that catch and resolve customer-impacting issues before they scale.
Operational Oversight: Audit campaign, web, and pricing output; identify risk; ensure usability of tech tools; drive improvements in velocity and efficiency.
Performance Measurement: Own the KPI and dashboard framework for Growth Systems — speed metrics, accuracy, and capability adoption — and drive continuous improvement against it.
Resource Management: Optimize a $20M+ budget: plan capacity and agency spend, reduce costs, and convert manual work to automated, self-service, or in-house delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, MarTech, Product, HR, Sales Ops, and Finance to enable new business models and monetization, and support the major must-win goals of Marketing across all segments in the enablement and execution of price, web, and campaigns.

Marketing Jobs in Mountain View: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a marketing job in Mountain View?
Focus on tech-driven employers clustered along the Castro Street corridor and the Route 85 business parks, where product marketing, demand generation, and growth roles are most active. Companies here typically want candidates who can translate technical products into clear messaging, so experience with SaaS or developer-facing products stands out. Connecting with local marketing meetups tied to the Silicon Valley scene gives you a practical edge over remote applicants.
Which companies hire marketings in Mountain View?
Companies currently hiring marketings in Mountain View include Intuit, LegalZoom, and Google, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Mountain View's employer mix skews heavily toward established tech firms and growth-stage SaaS companies, which means marketing roles here often sit inside product or revenue teams rather than standalone marketing departments.
Are there remote marketing jobs in Mountain View?
Yes, though availability depends on the specialty. Content, SEO, and digital marketing roles tend to be the most remote-friendly, while brand event and field marketing positions typically require on-site presence. About 100% of marketing openings tied to Mountain View are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the tech sector's continued flexibility. Product marketing roles at larger firms in the area most commonly offer structured hybrid schedules.
How can I get a marketing job in Mountain View with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Mountain View is landing a marketing coordinator or marketing operations role at a mid-size SaaS company, where smaller teams give junior hires broader exposure faster. Local tech firms along the San Antonio corridor and near the Caltrain station regularly hire entry-level candidates who show hands-on experience with tools like HubSpot or Google Analytics. Building a portfolio around a real product campaign, even a self-initiated one, makes a concrete difference in this market.
