Job Summary
We're hiring a live selling host to run trading card break shows on Whatnot. You'll be on camera for 4–5 hours per show, opening One Piece TCG product, running character breaks, working the chat, and closing sales in real time. This is a performance role: you set the energy, and the energy sets the revenue (your face will not be on camera).
Pay is hourly with commission on every show you run, so strong hosts earn well above the base. We'll teach you the product, the platform, and the break formats — what we can't teach is being watchable for five straight hours. If you're comfortable on camera, quick on your feet, and competitive about numbers, this is a good fit.
What you'll do
- Host live selling shows on Whatnot (typically 4–5 hours per stream)
- Run character breaks and other break formats: call spots, open packs, keep the board moving
- Build and hold an audience — greet buyers by name, work the chat, run giveaways to keep viewers in the room
- Drive sales: hype the product honestly, keep the pace up, and close the room
- Handle the on-camera basics: camera and lighting setup, card handling, calling hits clearly
- Keep accurate show records (revenue, giveaways, product opened) at the end of each stream
- Show up on time and ready — shows are scheduled and viewers expect them
What we're looking for
- Genuine on-camera presence and stamina — you can hold a room for five hours without flatlining
- Sales instinct: you can read a chat, feel when it's cooling off, and re-energize it
- Reliability. Missed shows cost real money and burn audience trust
- Comfortable working solo and managing your own stream from start to finish
- Able to work scheduled shifts on site at our office
Nice to have
- Existing experience streaming on Whatnot, TikTok Live, eBay Live, or similar
- Knowledge of One Piece TCG
- An existing following you can bring with you
- Basic understanding of stream setup (OBS, lighting, audio)
Pay: $20.00 - $200.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
Work Location: In person

How do you become a sales in California?
Most California sales roles require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field alongside demonstrated closing ability, though no state-issued sales license is required for general commercial sales. Specialized tracks add credentials: pharmaceutical and medical device sales candidates benefit from life sciences coursework and manufacturer training programs, while real estate sales agents must pass the California Department of Real Estate exam and obtain a California real estate salesperson license before representing clients.

California sales roles are posted by World Market, Best Buy, and AutoZone and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. California's concentration of technology headquarters, life sciences firms, and large enterprise accounts means employers here hire across a broader range of industries and deal sizes than most other states.
Which California cities have the most sales jobs?
San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco account for the largest share of sales openings in California. Los Angeles draws volume from entertainment, media, and healthcare accounts, San Francisco and San Jose are anchored by enterprise software and cloud technology companies, and San Diego's strong life sciences corridor sustains steady demand for medical device and pharmaceutical sales representatives.
Are there remote sales jobs in California?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 22% of sales openings tied to California are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how many California tech and SaaS companies staff their sales teams without requiring daily office attendance. Inside sales, account management, and software sales roles are the most consistently remote, while field sales and medical device positions remain largely in-person.
How can I get hired as a sales in California with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a sales development representative or business development representative role, which California's technology companies hire for in volume and train from the ground up.
