This role is best for someone with customer-facing sales experience in wireless, mobile, cable, internet, telecommunications, or retail sales. The ideal candidate must be comfortable actively engaging customers, recommending products and services, upselling, cross-selling, and working toward sales and commission goals in a fast-paced retail store environment.
Who We Are
We are a rapidly expanding branded partner for Optimum Communications – a major U.S. telecommunications provider offering fiber-powered Internet, Mobile, TV, and voice services to customers across 21 states. You'll work in our retail stores, helping residential customers connect to the above essential services.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Product Knowledge
- Must be able to engage customers and present telecommunications products and services proactively.
- Must be comfortable selling mobile, internet, cable, TV, and related support services.
- Should know how to identify customer needs and recommend the right products or service packages.
- Must be able to upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Must be able to meet or exceed individual sales goals, commission goals, and store performance expectations.
- Must be able to explain products, services, pricing, and promotions clearly to customers.
Customer Experience
- Must provide a positive, professional, and solution-focused customer experience.
- Should be comfortable building customer relationships and creating long-term brand loyalty.
- Must maintain high customer satisfaction standards, including Net Promoter Score (NPS) goals.
Team & Organizational Success
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts.
- Must be able to collaborate with team members and contribute to a supportive, performance-driven culture.
- Must be willing to support nearby store locations within a 35-mile radius when needed and have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work in person at the assigned retail store location.
Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year of customer-facing sales experience selling products, services, upgrades, or add-ons. Wireless, mobile, cable, internet, telecommunications, or retail sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 lbs.
