Behavioral Health Urgent Care Setting - Behavioral Health Therapist Needed for Nights

This position is a member of an interdisciplinary team that provides crisis assessment and referrals for individuals with behavioral health diagnosis or substance use disorders.
Behavioral Health Urgent Care:
Offering crisis stabilization and emergency care for people experiencing a mental health or substance use/addiction crisis and services for individuals who desire immediate access to assessment, treatment, and support for behavioral health needs.
Schedule: 3 - 12 hour shifts; Nights 8pm-8am
Pay Rate: Starting at $28/hour; shift diff for overnights

RHA Behavioral Health Services is in need of dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team, to provide services at our Behavioral Health Urgent Care center. In this dynamic role you will provide assessments, care, and treatments for clients while adhering to RHA's standards of care.

Job Responsibilities
As a Mental Health Therapist you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to individuals with psychiatric disorders and substance use disorders in the crisis center; ensuring the safety and well being of each patient; and supporting the maintenance of the therapeutic environment.
Additional responsibilities of the Mental Health Therapist include:
- Triage
- Complete crisis assessment
- Provide clinical recommendations and case management
- Demonstrate de-escalation skills and solution focused approach
- IVC First evaluations
Education, Licensure, and Experience required for the position include:
- Preferred experience: LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LCAS, or relevant associate level license
- Valid driver’s license and automotive insurance required
- Crisis experience required
Pre-employment screening:
- Complete criminal background
- Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
- Drug testing
- Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
- Proof of employment history or references (if required)
- Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
