Office Coordinator Jobs in Idaho: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a office coordinator in Idaho?
Office coordinator roles in Idaho do not require a state-issued license, but most employers expect at minimum a high school diploma plus relevant administrative experience, with many preferring an associate or bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. Completing coursework through the College of Western Idaho, Boise State University, or Idaho State University in office management or business is a practical path. Certifications such as the Certified Administrative Professional credential strengthen applications for competitive positions.
Which companies hire office coordinators in Idaho?

Idaho's healthcare systems, state agencies, and growing technology sector consistently generate the largest share of ongoing office coordinator openings across the state.
Which Idaho cities have the most office coordinator jobs?
Meridian, Idaho Falls, and Coeur d'Alene have the most office coordinator openings in Idaho. Boise and Meridian dominate because of the concentration of corporate headquarters, healthcare networks, and state government offices in the Treasure Valley, while Idaho Falls sees steady demand from regional medical centers and energy sector employers in eastern Idaho.
Are there remote office coordinator jobs in Idaho?
Yes, but they are less common than in purely desk-based fields because office coordinators often handle on-site tasks like facilities management, mail handling, and in-person staff support. About 0% of office coordinator openings tied to Idaho are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with hybrid schedules more typical than fully remote arrangements. Administrative coordination tasks such as scheduling, vendor communication, and document management are the functions most frequently performed remotely.
