At Medi-Weightloss Princeton, we believe lasting transformation happens through compassionate care, evidence-based medicine, personalized wellness, education, accountability, and encouragement. We don't simply help patients lose weight—we help them improve their health, regain confidence, and build sustainable habits for life.
We’re looking for an exceptional Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who wants to build something meaningful from the ground up. This is an opportunity to join a new clinic where you'll serve as the lead provider, mentor a talented clinical team, and help shape an outstanding patient experience from day one.
If you're passionate about nutrition, preventive medicine, lifestyle change, and developing meaningful relationships with patients, we'd love to meet you.

- Celebrates patient victories—both big and small.
- Wants to develop long-term relationships with patients.
- Enjoys being part of a collaborative, mission-driven team.
- Wants to help build a special culture from the ground up.
This Role is NOT for you if:
- You enjoy treating conditions but not coaching lifestyle change.
- You're uncomfortable discussing nutrition, exercise, and behavior modification.

Physician Jobs in New Jersey: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a physician in New Jersey?
To practice as a physician in New Jersey you must hold a license issued by the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners, which requires an MD or DO degree from an accredited institution, successful passage of all USMLE or COMLEX steps, and completion of at least one year of accredited graduate medical education. Applications are submitted directly to the State Board of Medical Examiners. New Jersey also requires a separate Controlled Dangerous Substances registration to prescribe.
Which companies hire physicians in New Jersey?
Employers hiring physicians in New Jersey right now include Hackensack Meridian Health, TeamHealth, and Alliance Orthopedics, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. New Jersey's large integrated health systems and academic medical centers account for a substantial share of ongoing physician recruitment across a wide range of specialties and practice settings.
Which New Jersey cities have the most physician jobs?
Hackensack, Edison, and Paramus have the highest concentration of physician openings in New Jersey. The distribution reflects where the state's largest health systems are headquartered and where academic medical centers like Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School drive affiliated physician hiring, with suburban and secondary markets filling out the remainder of demand.
Are there remote physician jobs in New Jersey?
Yes, but they're rare. About 6% of physician openings tied to New Jersey are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the hands-on nature of most clinical roles. The positions most likely to carry remote or hybrid flexibility are in utilization management, telehealth, and physician advisory or case review functions rather than direct patient care.
How can I get hired as a physician in New Jersey with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is completing a residency or fellowship at a New Jersey-affiliated teaching hospital, since systems like RWJBarnabas Health and Hackensack Meridian Health regularly convert trainees into attending staff. New graduates without prior attending experience can target hospitalist and urgent care roles, which tend to have lower experience thresholds than subspecialty positions. Securing your New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners license and board eligibility before applying gives candidates a clear edge.
Where can I find and apply to physician jobs in New Jersey?
You can find and apply to physician jobs in New Jersey on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers hiring in the state right now. Search the listings to see roles that match your specialty and location, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
