- Supervise engineers who respond to situations where standard procedures have failed to isolate or fix problems in non-functioning EI systems or software.
- Establish and maintain lines of communication with design engineering and software development on design, reliability, and maintenance issues.
- Ensure that engineers are current with the latest upgrades and/or new releases.
- Be involved in customer installation and training programs.
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the team.
- Direct and supervise the day-to-day work of your direct reports.
- Be responsible for the annual Performance Management & Development exercise of your direct reports.
- Develop and mentor high-potential personnel to continuously build a stronger team as well as provide opportunities for qualified internal personnel.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment support.
- 6+ years in a people management capacity.
- Proficiency with Linux systems, including command-line tools, scripting, and server management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to establish successful relationships in a multicultural environment with external and internal customers.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment.
- Willing to travel both domestically and internationally as required.
- This is an onsite flex role.

Salary
CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $146,000.00 - $311,000.00.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
