- Responsibility to work and act safety in accordance with all policies
- Responsibility to report safety hazards to people or product and comply with all Good Manufacturing
- Direct team members on your line and watch to make sure they’re doing their job correctly. Review
different cake. Make a “clean up list” so that everyone knows their clean up jobs.
- Set belt speeds and continuously evaluate and make any adjustments needed. Ex. Turn belt speed up if
- Directs line operators and line workers to perform changeovers, and adjust all finishing department
- Complete all paperwork needed throughout shift. Ex. Master Sheet, downtime recorded, lot #’s,
- Follows and enforces Good Manufacturing Practices by adhering to company policy and keeping work
- Monitors equipment performance and reports damaged or faulty equipment to maintenance or
- Inspects quality of cakes constantly. Checks packaging, labels, and cartons to ensure everything is
- Solve problems! Must stay on your feet -always think ahead and direct people in advance but be able
- Monitor and record cake component weights, total cake weights, metal detector checks, and label
- Communicate constantly with baking lead and supervisor. Ex. Gap needed, cakes sticking, a lot of
- Train and evaluate employees when needed and continually monitor employees’ hours.
- Motivates through positive re-enforcement.
- Ensure products meet the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code by reporting to a leader,
food safety, or regulatory requirements.
- Back up for this position is other Production Lead, Back up Lead and Production Supervisor
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
