What You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate daily production activities during the assigned shift.
- Ensure employees follow all safety procedures, company policies, and equipment operating requirements.
- Promote a positive safety culture and address or report unsafe conditions.
- Oversee production activities to ensure products meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor workflow and allocate resources to support production goals.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Support cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team by setting clear expectations and monitoring individual and team performance.
- Train, coach, and develop employees to support operational and professional growth.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, employee recognition, corrective action, and resolving workplace concerns.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to support overall plant performance.

- One-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred.
- 1–2 years of related manufacturing, production, or supervisory experience and/or training.
- Previous experience leading employees in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

The entry point salary for this role is $65,000 annually.
