INTRODUCTION
The BBB serving Central and South Alabama has an opening for a technology department leader. The position is part of our operations team. This person will support our BBB’s computer systems, communications equipment, and software. The successful candidate will join a group of very dedicated leaders who work daily to promote ethics, honesty, and trustworthiness in the business arena in our fifty-county service area in Alabama. You must be able to multi-task and communicate effectively with teammates in several locations to provide both training and support. Ability to analyze and evaluate new opportunities that will continue to streamline and make our operation more effective are important. As we grow our accredited business count this position is a high-profile position and requires a broad knowledge of Better Business Bureau services and policies.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain systems, databases and be able to provide support as needed.
- Maintain inventory of all technology and software including license agreements.
- Assist department managers with developing new business strategies and implementing programs to increase efficiency. Participate in annual budgeting process.
- Participate in national IABBB events and seminars.
- Generate reports as needed for all departments.
- Supervise staff as needed.
- Purchase technology equipment, software and supplies as needed.
- Ability to relate well to customers and teammates.
- Willingness to participate in community activities representing the Better Business Bureau.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Operations Support: 1 year (Preferred)

Pay: $42,500.00 - $46,500.00 per year
