This position will support construction project teams by developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules to ensure milestones, deliverables, and project objectives are achieved. The position is fully in-person, 5 days a week, in downtown, NYC.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare baseline schedules, progress updates, recovery schedules, and short-term look-ahead schedules.
- Perform critical path method (CPM) analysis to identify schedule risks, delays, and potential impacts on project completion.
- Monitor actual progress against planned milestones and identify variances, constraints, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, construction managers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to collect and validate schedule information.
- Analyze schedule impacts resulting from changes in scope, unforeseen conditions, procurement delays, and construction activities.
- Support time impact analyses, delay assessments, and schedule recovery planning.
- Prepare and present schedule reports, progress narratives, milestone tracking reports, and other project controls deliverables.
- Assist with resource and cost loading, earned value analysis, and project performance tracking as required.
- Review contractor schedules and progress updates for logic, sequencing, durations, dependencies, and compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and scheduling records in accordance with established project controls procedures.
- Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling insights, forecasts, and recommendations to support timely decision-making.
Required Qualifications
