Recruiting Coordinator Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a recruiting coordinator in Florida?
Most recruiting coordinator roles in Florida require a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a closely related field, though some employers accept an associate degree combined with relevant administrative experience. Florida has no state-issued license specific to recruiting coordinators, but earning a credential such as the SHRM Certified Professional or PHR through the HR Certification Institute signals competency and is increasingly requested by larger Florida employers. Starting in HR assistant or talent operations roles at Florida-based companies is a common entry path.
Which companies hire recruiting coordinators in Florida?
Companies currently hiring recruiting coordinators in Florida include DESORT STAFFING, Teacher Accelerator Program, and IPG, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Florida's dense concentration of healthcare networks, hospitality groups, and regional corporate headquarters means recruiting coordinator demand remains active across both established enterprises and growing mid-size employers throughout the state.
Which Florida cities have the most recruiting coordinator jobs?
Miami, Tampa, and Orlando hold the most recruiting coordinator openings in Florida. Miami's concentration of multinational corporations and financial services firms, Tampa's growing technology and healthcare sectors, and Orlando's massive hospitality and theme park industry all generate sustained demand for recruiting coordination support, making these metros consistently among the most active hiring locations in the state.
Are there remote recruiting coordinator jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields, since recruiting coordination is largely desk-based work that translates well to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 59% of recruiting coordinator openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how much of the role involves digital scheduling, applicant tracking, and virtual candidate communication. Interview scheduling and onboarding coordination are the tasks most commonly handled fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a recruiting coordinator in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an HR assistant or talent operations role, which large Florida employers such as AdventHealth, Publix, and Carnival Corporation regularly post as entry-level positions open to recent graduates. Community college HR programs across Florida, including those at Valencia College and Miami Dade College, produce candidates who move directly into these support roles. Volunteering to manage scheduling or onboarding administration in a current job, then pursuing SHRM's student membership and associate credentials, gives candidates a clear competitive edge with Florida hiring managers.
Where can I find and apply to recruiting coordinator jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to recruiting coordinator jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings across industries and metro areas. Search the listings to find roles that fit your background, experience level, and preferred location, then apply directly to the ones that match.
