Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS):
- Generating qualified leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking events, social media, and other prospecting activities.
- Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline to support revenue growth objectives.
- Conducting market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, competitive activity, and business opportunities.
- Engaging prospective customers to understand their business needs and position appropriate solutions.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective clients to support long-term business growth.
- Preparing and delivering effective product and solution presentations.
- Monitoring progress toward business development goals and taking corrective actions when needed.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities within Salesforce and other reporting systems.
- Producing reports and analysis related to lead generation, conversion rates, pipeline development, and sales performance.
- Working in tandem with End User Business Development Managers to drive sales across targeted vertical markets.
- Collaborating with internal sales, marketing, and product development teams to execute business development initiatives.
- Supporting customer retention efforts through proactive relationship management and timely resolution of customer concerns.
- Developing a thorough understanding of client environments, cultures, and decision-making processes within target verticals.
- Analyzing market and sales data to refine outreach strategies and improve business development effectiveness.
- Staying informed of industry trends, market conditions, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
- Continuously expanding product knowledge and sales methodologies to increase effectiveness.
- Supporting strategic growth initiatives by identifying and nurturing new business opportunities.
- Demonstrating a customer-centric approach that promotes trust, satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding business development, lead generation, or sales targets.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, prospecting techniques, and pipeline management.
- Clear understanding of end-user corporate cultures, environments, and decision-making processes within target verticals.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively pursue new opportunities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Customer-centric mindset with strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, and industry standards.
- Experience within the physical access control, security technology, or related industries is preferred.
- Familiarity with industry market trends, competitors, and business drivers is preferred.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and experience influencing buying decisions is preferred.
- Experience presenting products, services, and business solutions to a variety of customer audiences is preferred.
- Experience working remotely in a distributed sales organization is preferred.
