Sales Development Representative Jobs in Dallas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales development representative job in Dallas?
The strongest path into Dallas SDR roles is targeting the city's dense SaaS and fintech ecosystem concentrated in Uptown and along the Platinum Corridor in Addison and Plano. Employers in these corridors consistently recruit for pipeline-generation roles, so familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and a demonstrated ability to prospect outbound give candidates a clear edge over generalist applicants. Cold-calling experience and any exposure to B2B sales cycles close the gap quickly.
Which companies hire sales development representatives in Dallas?
Companies currently hiring sales development representatives in Dallas include USI Insurance Services, OpenText, and Avetta, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Dallas draws a broad mix of high-growth SaaS startups, enterprise tech firms, and regional financial services companies, all of which maintain active SDR pipelines as a core part of their go-to-market teams.
Are there remote sales development representative jobs in Dallas?
Yes, though SDR roles are less remote-friendly than purely analytical positions because they typically require coordinated team environments, live coaching, and structured call blocks. About 77% of sales development representative openings tied to Dallas are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with the remote share skewing toward established SaaS companies rather than early-stage startups that prefer in-office ramp periods.
How can I get a sales development representative job in Dallas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in Dallas is targeting mid-size SaaS companies and insurance or financial services firms in the Plano and Las Colinas corridors, which routinely hire associate SDRs and sales coordinators with no prior quota-carrying experience. Building proficiency in Salesforce or HubSpot before applying, and completing a short sales skills certificate, signals readiness to Dallas hiring managers who prioritize coachability and communication over a lengthy resume.
Which industries hire the most sales development representatives in Dallas?
Dallas sales development representative roles concentrate in Technology & Software, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Dallas's position as a major corporate relocation destination and its large financial services and healthcare technology clusters create sustained SDR demand well beyond what a single sector alone would generate.
