Description
Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals is seeking experienced, high-performing, and driven Specialty Sales Representatives to join our expanding commercial organization. This is a unique opportunity to play a meaningful role in the launch and growth of our cardiometabolic portfolio, including Plozasiran (siRNA targeting APOC3), developed for patients with rare and high-need cardiovascular conditions such as Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS) and Severe Hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG).
This role is critical to delivering launch excellence by driving prescriber activation, accelerating therapy adoption, and ensuring sustained utilization within complex healthcare environments. The Specialty Sales Representative will operate with strategic agility, strong clinical acumen, and disciplined execution to positively impact patient outcomes.
About Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals:
Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARWR) is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company that develops medicines that treat intractable diseases by silencing the genes that cause them. Using a broad portfolio of RNA chemistries and efficient modes of delivery, Arrowhead therapies trigger the RNA interference mechanism to induce rapid, deep, and durable knockdown of target genes. RNA interference, or RNAi, is a mechanism present in living cells that inhibits the expression of a specific gene, thereby affecting the production of a specific protein. Arrowhead’s RNAi-based therapeutics leverage this natural pathway of gene silencing.
Arrowhead is focused on developing innovative drugs for diseases with a genetic basis, typically characterized by the overproduction of one or more proteins that are involved with disease. The depth and versatility of our RNAi technologies enables us to potentially address conditions in virtually any therapeutic area and pursue disease targets that are not otherwise addressable by small molecules and biologics. Arrowhead is leading the field in bringing the promise of RNAi to address diseases outside of the liver, and our clinical pipeline includes disease targets in the liver and lung with a promising pipeline of preclinical candidates.
Arrowhead’s corporate headquarters is in Pasadena, CA with research and development teams in Madison, WI and San Diego, CA. Our employees are nimble, science-driven innovators who are collaborating to bring new therapies to patients in need.

Sales Representative Jobs in Maine: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales representative in Maine?
Most sales representative roles in Maine require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a relevant technical field, though some employers hire candidates with an associate degree and strong sales aptitude. Pharmaceutical and medical device sales roles often require prior healthcare or science experience. Insurance sales representatives must hold a Maine-issued producer license through the Maine Bureau of Insurance, which requires passing a state licensing exam before soliciting policies.
Which companies hire sales representatives in Maine?
Companies currently hiring sales representatives in Maine include GoNetspeed, AT&T, and QXO, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Maine's concentration of healthcare, insurance, and specialty manufacturing employers means sales roles here often require industry-specific knowledge of those sectors.
Which Maine cities have the most sales representative jobs?
Portland, Scarborough, and York account for the largest share of sales representative openings in Maine. Portland leads due to its dense concentration of healthcare, financial services, and regional corporate offices, while Bangor and Augusta generate consistent demand through state government contractors, insurance carriers, and medical institutions that serve central and northern Maine.
Are there remote sales representative jobs in Maine?

About 100% of sales representative openings tied to Maine are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting employer flexibility across industries. Inside sales, software, and insurance roles tend to offer the most remote options, while territory field sales positions almost always require in-person client visits.
How can I get hired as a sales representative in Maine with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying for inside sales associate or sales development representative roles, which large Maine employers like Unum and IDEXX Laboratories use as structured starting points for people new to sales. Retail or customer service experience at Maine-based employers is widely recognized as a qualifying background.
