Accendra Health is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solution Engineer join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Salesforce development you will participate in Marketing Cloud implementations. While mostly focused on delivery, you may be involved across the entire project lifecycle. The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solution Engineer plays a critical role in designing, architecting, and implementing scalable marketing automation solutions that drive personalized customer engagement. This role partners closely with business, outbound management, product, and technical teams to translate business requirements into robust SFMC configurations, ensuring organizations maximize the value of their Salesforce ecosystem.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 (per year). The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Responsibilities

Aspects of what we need

• Solution Architecture & Design — Develop end‑to‑end Marketing Cloud architectures including data models, automation workflows, segmentation strategies, and cross‑cloud integrations.

• Platform Implementation — Configure and deploy SFMC components such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, and CloudPages.

• Data Management — Design and optimize data extensions, contact models, API integrations, and data ingestion processes to support dynamic personalization and automation.

• Technical Development — Build custom solutions using AMPscript, SQL, SSJS, HTML/CSS, and API frameworks to support advanced personalization and automation.

• Stakeholder Collaboration — Work with marketing and business teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver scalable solutions.

• Quality Assurance & Testing — Conduct solution testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high‑quality deployments across environments.

• Enablement & Documentation — Provide training, documentation, and best‑practice guidance to internal teams to ensure successful adoption and long‑term platform health.

• Cross‑Cloud Integration — Partner with Salesforce CRM, CDP, and external system owners to ensure seamless data flow and unified customer experiences.

• Performance Optimization — Monitor campaign performance, deliverability, and system health; recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and ROI.

• Governance & Compliance — Ensure solutions adhere to data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), security standards, and organizational governance frameworks.

Solution Implementation:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize Marketing Cloud solutions

• Communicate project concepts and outcomes to client project stakeholders

• Design and delivery of solutions in Email Studio including A / B testing

• Strong understanding of digital marketing KPIs, such as email marketing, PPC and other marketing conversion metrics

• Experience in reporting and analyzing email activity using Email Studio reports and Journey Builder. (Nice to have) proficiency with Data Views and Discover Reports within Analytics Builder, Einstein Engagement

• Track record for delivering marketing automation projects in a fast-paced environment, and able to successfully keep to deadlines

• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security protocols

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring platform stability and performance

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud in a technical or solution engineering capacity.

• Strong proficiency with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Contact Builder, and ideally Mobile Studio and Cloud Pages

• Hands‑on experience with AMPscript, SQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.

• Solid understanding of relational data models, segmentation logic, and marketing automation best practices.

• Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud or external systems.

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

• Understanding how to build a custom preference center

• Conceptual understanding, to be able to establish data models, work with API’s and configurations

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams

• Experience in mentoring team members

• o Marketing Cloud Consultant (preferred)

• Experience with Data 360
