Job Description
Role Summary
The Strategic Sourcing & Platform Integration Lead is responsible for bridging the gap between conceptual platform requirements and operational reality. This role orchestrates the end-to-end lifecycle of the Recovery platform, from the initial evaluation of vendor proposals and technical alignment with the strategic roadmap to the final validation and field deployment of critical infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure that all partner-delivered capabilities the rigorous technical and operational standards required for mission-critical deployment.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Evaluation
Proposal Orchestration: Lead the technical evaluation process for vendor and partner proposals, ensuring all submissions are rigorously vetted against the Recovery platform’s long-term roadmap.
Technical Alignment: Act as the primary technical liaison between external partners and internal engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions align with system architecture and performance goals.
Strategic Selection: Drive the decision-making process for partner selection based on technical merit, scalability, and alignment with platform milestones.

Deployment & Lifecycle Transition
Concept-to-Field Execution: Oversee the full transition lifecycle, converting conceptual platform capabilities and RFP specifications into fully deployed, field-ready infrastructure.
Lifecycle Management: Manage the critical path from design and prototyping through to final operational handover, ensuring no loss of technical intent during the transition.
Infrastructure Readiness: Coordinate the deployment of physical and digital assets to ensure they are integrated seamlessly into the existing platform ecosystem.

Validation & Acceptance
Criteria Definition: Establish and manage comprehensive acceptance criteria for new platform capabilities, ensuring clear, measurable benchmarks for success.
Technical Validation: Oversee the validation of delivered power train specifications, ensuring they adhere to the stringent safety, performance, and reliability standards required for operational deployment.
Quality Assurance: Lead the final acceptance testing and sign-off process, mitigating technical risk before assets are transitioned to the field.



Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Expertise: Proven track record of managing complex hardware/software transitions from the RFP stage to field deployment.
• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of power train specifications and infrastructure deployment within a platform environment.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to map vendor capabilities to a multi-year technical roadmap.
• Analytical Rigor: Expertise in defining KPIs and acceptance criteria for high-stakes technical deliverables.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Expertise in developing comprehensive Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation.
• Technical proficiency in combat vehicle recovery systems.
• Deep understanding of production processes and manufacturing workflows.
• Demonstrated success in leading new product integration and development cycles.
• Strong relationship management skills with US Army stakeholders and customers.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
