Job Summary
Our clients home-based travel agency in Elmwood, IL is looking for a friendly, computer-savvy professional who can help and learn quickly.
Week 1 - Sit with current tech person and help her:
- Needs to take control and develop the correct corporate standards system.
- Assist with writing detailed, step-by-step computer instructions, with screenshots where they help.
- Help save each set as its own file in the main Google Drive, indexed so it's easy to find and print.
- Help put together matching 3-rin binder manuals with tab dividers and an index.
Week 2:
Train one-on-one with owner, on-site at the Elmwood Park home office, at a patient, beginner-friendly pace using the finished manuals. Days and hours to be agreed. (Flexible)
Requirements:
- Travel agency experience is a big plus!
- Strong computer skills, especially Google Drive
- A quick learner who enjoys teaching.
- Works quickly while learning the system.
- Experience with how-to guides or training manuals.
- Organized, patient and friendly.
Week 1 Schedule: Wednesday - Friday 9a.m. - 5p.m.
Week 2 Schedule: Flexible and can be agreed on.
Pay: $23.44 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
