Which staffing companies sponsor H-1B visas in Arkansas?
Staffing firms with H-1B visa Labor Condition Application filings in Arkansas include Staffmark, which is headquartered in Little Rock, along with national staffing agencies operating regional offices in Fayetteville and Bentonville. Healthcare-focused staffing firms serving Arkansas hospitals and clinics also appear in DOL disclosure data. Sponsorship activity is concentrated among mid-to-large agencies placing IT, engineering, and clinical professionals rather than general light-industrial staffers.
Which cities in Arkansas have the most staffing H-1B sponsorship jobs?
Little Rock accounts for the highest concentration of H-1B staffing placements in Arkansas, driven by state government contractors, healthcare systems like Baptist Health and UAMS, and regional professional services firms. Fayetteville and Bentonville follow closely, supported by the Walmart supplier ecosystem and Northwest Arkansas's expanding technology and logistics workforce. Jonesboro sees smaller but consistent staffing sponsorship tied to manufacturing and healthcare.
What types of staffing roles typically qualify for H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B eligibility requires a specialty occupation, meaning the position must normally require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Staffing roles that commonly qualify include IT project managers, software developers, registered nurses placed through clinical staffing agencies, financial analysts, and engineering consultants. General administrative or warehouse staffing roles typically do not meet the specialty occupation standard that USCIS applies to H-1B petitions.
How do I find staffing H-1B sponsorship jobs in Arkansas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship type and state, making it straightforward to browse staffing H-1B sponsorship jobs in Arkansas without manually screening each employer. You can search by city, role type, and industry to surface staffing agencies and end-client placements that have active H-1B filing history in Arkansas. Migrate Mate's employer data draws from DOL Labor Condition Application records so sponsorship history is verifiable.
Are there state-specific considerations for H-1B sponsorship in Arkansas staffing?
Arkansas does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal H-1B rules, but staffing agencies operating in the state must still comply with Arkansas Department of Labor wage and hour standards alongside DOL prevailing wage obligations. Clinical staffing firms placing nurses or allied health workers also need to satisfy Arkansas State Medical Board or nursing board licensure requirements before an H-1B petition can be filed, since USCIS requires the worker to be eligible to perform the role in the destination state.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B staffing jobs in Arkansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
