- Characterize thermal performance including:
- Mean operating temperature

- Spatial thermal gradients
- Thermal transition and settling behavior
- Design experiments to isolate and quantify key thermal parameters and mechanisms.
- Specify and implement thermal instrumentation including thermocouples, RTDs, flow sensors, pressure sensors, and infrared cameras.
- Evaluate the impact of coolant properties, flow conditions, thermal interfaces, and hardware tolerances on system performance.
- Develop analytical and computational thermal models of multi-component assemblies.
- Develop and validate transfer functions to predict thermal performance differences between two specific coolants.
- Correlate experimental data with simulation results and improve model accuracy.
- Develop automated analysis tools and data processing workflows using Python or MATLAB.
- Generate technical reports and present conclusions to engineering and management teams.
