Which transportation companies in Colorado sponsor E-3 visas?
Front Range employers with documented E-3 and specialty occupation sponsorship history in transportation include United Airlines (headquartered at Denver International Airport), XPO Logistics, and regional freight and supply chain firms operating through Denver's intermodal facilities. Denver's Regional Transportation District has also sponsored specialty occupation roles in planning and engineering. Sponsorship availability varies by role, hiring cycle, and whether the position meets the specialty occupation standard.
Which cities in Colorado have the most transportation E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the largest share of transportation E-3 sponsorship activity in Colorado, driven by Denver International Airport, the Regional Transportation District, and major logistics hubs along I-70 and I-25. Colorado Springs supports a secondary market through military logistics contractors and freight operators. Pueblo and Fort Collins have smaller but active transportation sectors, primarily in rail and regional freight, where specialty occupation roles occasionally appear.
What types of transportation roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship in Colorado?
E-3 sponsorship applies to specialty occupation roles requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In transportation, qualifying positions typically include transportation engineer, logistics analyst, supply chain manager, operations research analyst, and aviation operations specialist. General driver, dispatcher, or warehouse roles do not meet the specialty occupation threshold. The employer confirms the role qualifies by filing a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before the E-3 application proceeds.
How do I find transportation E-3 sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate surfaces verified E-3 sponsorship employers in Colorado's transportation sector by pulling Labor Condition Application filing data directly from DOL records, so you can see which companies have actively sponsored E-3 or comparable specialty occupation roles. Filter by state and industry to identify Denver-area logistics firms, aviation employers at DIA, and regional transit organizations with a demonstrated sponsorship history, rather than relying on unverified job postings.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for transportation E-3 sponsorship?
Colorado's high-altitude geography and position as a western distribution hub shape which transportation roles are in demand, particularly in aviation logistics at Denver International Airport and freight operations along the I-70 mountain corridor. Australian applicants should confirm that their degree is in a field directly related to the specific role, since transportation is broad and some positions blend operations with general management in ways that can complicate the specialty occupation determination. Consulting USCIS guidance on specialty occupation criteria before applying is advisable.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 transportation jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
