Which healthcare companies sponsor Green Card visas in Colorado?
UCHealth, SCL Health (now Intermountain Health), Children's Hospital Colorado, Denver Health, and CommonSpirit Health are among the larger Colorado healthcare employers with established immigration sponsorship programs. Academic medical centers affiliated with the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus also sponsor Green Cards for physicians and researchers. Sponsorship availability varies by facility, role, and current staffing needs, so confirming directly with each employer's HR or recruitment team is essential.
Which cities in Colorado have the most healthcare Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Denver and Aurora together form the state's densest concentration of healthcare employers, anchored by the Anschutz Medical Campus and major hospital systems. Colorado Springs has a growing hospital network including UCHealth and CommonSpirit facilities. Fort Collins and Boulder support healthcare hiring tied to regional hospitals and university health services. Rural areas across the state also see sponsorship activity, particularly for physicians and nurses, often supported by J-1 waiver Conrad 30 programs or EB-3 petitions.
What types of healthcare roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in Colorado?
Registered nurses, physicians, surgeons, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical technologists are among the roles Colorado healthcare employers most frequently sponsor. EB-3 is commonly used for nurses and allied health professionals, while physicians often pursue EB-2 or EB-1B pathways. Roles requiring specialized clinical licensure or board certification tend to be stronger candidates for sponsorship because the employer can more clearly demonstrate the position cannot be easily filled domestically.
How do I find healthcare Green Card sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking Green Card and other visa sponsorship roles, including healthcare positions in Colorado. You can filter by state, visa type, and industry to surface employers actively sponsoring in this field. Because healthcare sponsorship availability shifts with staffing cycles and facility budgets, checking regularly and setting up alerts for Colorado healthcare roles gives you the most current picture of what's open.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for healthcare Green Card sponsorship?
Colorado requires healthcare professionals to hold state licensure before starting work, and some credential evaluations take several months, so beginning that process early matters. The state's large rural and frontier regions mean some facilities pursue J-1 Conrad 30 waivers as a precursor to Green Card sponsorship for physicians. Colorado's growing population along the Front Range has increased long-term demand for clinical staff, which supports employer willingness to invest in permanent sponsorship for hard-to-fill roles.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card healthcare jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
