JOB SUMMARY
Operate and maintain specialized machinery to attach capper flanges to mattress components, ensuring quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and monitor capper flanger machines, including setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
- Load and unload mattress components onto the production line.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Document production data, including output and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with other production team members to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with machine operation.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor adjustments and maintenance.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
